Dialogue between Provincial Leaders and Youth in 2023
On the afternoon of April 26, the Department of Home Affairs collaborated with the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union to host a meeting and dialogue between provincial leaders and youth in 2023. The event's theme was "Supporting Youth Startups and Digital Transformation".

Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, Department of Home Affairs and Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union met and host the dialogue with young people

Among the attendees were Mr. Le Van Han, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Bui Thanh Thuong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Department of Home Affairs; Mr. Tran Tri Cuong, Member of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union; leaders of provincial departments, departments, and branches; and more than 150 youth union members.

During the conference, the youth raised several questions about the province's support for youth startup ideas and projects; requirements and conditions for startup support; agencies and units that support access to technology and specific support plans for young people; provincial guidelines and solutions in choosing a new economic model for young people to learn from and solve output problems for effective startup products.

Mr. Kim Sa Met, unit of Duyen Hai District Union asked questions about the province's support for young people's startup ideas and projects.

The youth were also interested in issues such as support for copyright protection for startup ideas and projects; guidance on how to participate in safe social networks, keep personal information confidential, and avoid individuals who use digital technology to commit illegal acts through cyberspace; solutions for creating job demand through vocational training classes; and necessary conditions for young people to access loans to support young people in starting a sustainable business.

Before addressing each question and issue, the leaders of relevant departments and agencies exchanged information, clarified doubts, and informed the youth about important policies that would help them access startup support sources.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han spoke at the conference

In his speech at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Han suggested that provincial departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities should perform the task of state management of youth in association with the task of developing socio-economic conditions of the locality. They should also fulfill the goals and targets of the Resolution on Youth Development and the Strategy for Vietnam's Youth Development in the period of 2021-2030, according to assigned functions and tasks. Furthermore, they should strengthen responsibility and support for youth and pay special attention to disadvantaged youth groups, such as ethnic youth, and youth with disabilities.

He also urged them to direct the implementation and solve difficulties and problems related to youth care and development policies, creating favorable conditions for young people to study, work, and contribute to local development.

At all levels, youth unions should regularly propagate and disseminate the guidelines of the Party, policies and laws of the State, and provincial documents related to youth work, to help youth grasp and implement them effectively.

For young people, it is necessary to actively and boldly express their legitimate views and opinions on the policies of the Party, the State, and the province related to youth work through union activities. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that, with the enthusiastic spirit of youth, they will continue to devote their talents, wisdom, and strength to building a growing Tra Vinh homeland.
